Isn’t it amazing that there is a plan for each one of us in the Kingdom of God that we get to fulfill here on earth? Unlike this earthly system, you don’t need to compete with anyone else for your plan, the provision, or the love and grace of the Father in order to complete His plan for you. We need only trust and believe in Him to accomplish it. It can be hard to understand how the Kingdom of God functions because we live in this world and it definitely operates in a completely different manner. Like the saying goes, “It’s a Dog Eat Dog World Out There.”
This morning as I was reflecting and spending time with the Lord, I was reminded of a journal entry that I had made on April 11, 2012. I included it in my book, Bridal Redemption, and want to share it again with you here.
Journal Entry April 11, 2012
I saw myself with the Lord, and there was a ribbon, and each of us held an end as if we were dancing around a Maypole. He said, “I am always with you, and even if I send you out, we are connected. It is a dance that you and I dance together. As you fulfill your destiny, I am dancing with you because your purpose is a dance with me; only you and I can perform it. I am yours, and you are Mine. Hear the music and dance to the rhythm. Flow with the music. The steps have been ordained by Me, predestined by Me.”
“I will never let you get out of step, out of My rhythm. As you spend time with Me, you will begin to hear the music more clearly, and the music will also flow from your heart; the rhythm will be a part of you. The music can’t be heard by others because this is our dance set to our music. You will hear it, and you will be able to dance to it beautifully. As you look around, do not get confused if you are not dancing like others-they are dancing to other music or not hearing any music at all. Do not let your heart try to change the steps because it will be harder for you to hear the music of our hearts together. Keep your eyes on Me, your heart set on Me, and you will never be out of step.”
“Your dance brings Me great joy. Healing flows, hearts are set free, provision is released. It’s beautiful, and Heaven dances with you; angels dance with you. I love you, My darling child. Teach My children to dance with Me. Teach My children, My daughters, to hear the music of My heart for them. I have ribbons for every one of the them. Some have picked them up only to lay them back down again. Others don’t even know there is a ribbon for them, they long for it, but they don’t know what it is or how to pick it up. Love them, My darling. Show them and teach them. I AM is with you.”
He has a beautiful plan for each of us. As we lean in on Him to hear the sound of His heartbeat for us, it is beautiful music that each one of us are called to dance to with Him. If we begin to look around and see what others are doing, we will get out of His rhythm for us. We will have a challenging time hearing and understanding what He has called each of us to do.
We are not to compare our dance with anyone else’s dance.
You each have a ribbon that you are to grab hold of. We all flow in rhythm as we dance our own dance. To Heaven it is beautiful. As you support and encourage each another you can be confident that there is more than enough of everything that you need to fulfill your dance. If someone else is dancing beautifully, it will not mean that you will not have what it takes to complete your dance.
Courage to Support Each Other
It takes courage to step out and help another woman find her ribbon so that she can fulfill her dance. There is great freedom to be found as you trust that Jesus is more than enough for you and you do not have to compete with anyone else in order to fulfill His calling upon your life.
Jeremiah 29:11 in Amplified says,
“For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,” says the Lord, “plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
This is a commonly repeated scripture and one that we can hold onto as we seek to fulfill all that God has planned for us. As we fulfill our destiny we can continue to encourage one another, knowing that if someone else succeeds in their destiny there is still room for me to succeed in mine.
So, my friend, pick up your ribbon, listen for Jesus’ heart for you and begin dancing the dance that only you and He can dance together.
