As I sat before the Lord asking Him what a surrendered life looked like, He began to speak this to my heart….
My darling lay it down. Lay down your expectations, and your desires for your ministry. Surrender yourself and support others, reach out to love and lay your schedule down. I know your deadlines. I know what I placed inside of you. As you seek Me and allow Me to adjust and transform you don’t you think that I want to have you fulfill the dreams I placed inside of you more than you do? You make it seem like you came up with these desires and you have to get Me on the same page with you! (I sense Him smiling).
I love you. I want you to rest in Me. I already know what I placed inside of you and I am only now helping you to discover what that is. Oh, My child, you don’t have to talk Me into it or explain it to Me. I already know every detail about it. When Father and Holy Spirit and I were creating and breathing life into what we saw before it was formed, We took great joy in you (Proverbs 8:30-31). It was so much fun breathing life into all We saw for your life. So, take joy now in Me as we do this together. You can trust Me with your dreams and as you hold them loosely in your hands I will adjust you if you don’t see it clearly, the way I have called it forth. All the places you’ve walked, all the things you’ve walked through, even when it wasn’t My plan I’ll use them, that is what I did at the cross. I redeemed. I restored. I reconciled. I AM!
So, sit back, lean in and hear My heartbeat of love for you. You don’t have to fight or compete for your place, but you do need to step out even if it means a “no” or a door slammed in your face. Those don’t mean you missed it. My Spirit lives within you and where you go, I go. It may mean you hear a “no” but I went with you and you just can’t see how I used that to further My Kingdom. Sometimes it plants a seed that someone else waters but always know that My Spirit is there working and ministering My truth even in a “no.”
I want this to be fun for you. Take heart, I have overcome the world so nothing that comes against you can overcome you if you lean into Me, abide in Me and My truth, and allow Me to define your circumstances and walk with eyes of faith. I AM is going to continue to unwrap all that I placed within you so celebrate what I am unwrapping in others for it does not detract from what I have for you. As you learn to celebrate others and cheer them on you will begin to understand what I placed in you is not about you – it’s all about Me, My love, My perfect plan, and you will have ever increasing joy as you and I dance together and fulfill My pans for you!
